Wombeatz’s mission is to create opportunities for women and girls, bring fresh new talent and professionals to the music industry. We do this by promoting existing artists and providing female role models and mentors.

Wombeatz aims to encourage girls and women to get involved in the technology side of music by providing a supportive, nurturing and non - competitive environment.

The reason we believe it is so important to keep the learning environment all female, is because mixed learning environments are very male dominated and gender stereotypes are often reinforced.

There is a lack of opportunities for women and girls to develop appropriate skills and they are often excluded from informal networks. We believe courses of this nature could have a key role in helping to reduce gender inequalities in this professional arena.

We offer taster sessions and tailor made courses in DJing, Sound Engineering and Events Promotion.
